XLAB / EXPERIMENT INFRASTRUCTUREWORKFLOWS

xlab-trees(7)

NAME

xlab-trees — write the follow-up rules before the first run.

SYNOPSIS

sh
xlab check trees/T0-demo.toml
xlab tree start trees/T0-demo.toml
xlab work --trees
xlab tree status T0-demo

DESCRIPTION

Nodes name specs. Branches pick analysis rows by arm, metric, and factor patterns, then test verdicts, ratio/speedup thresholds, bounds, complete blocks, absolute values, or Pareto membership. all = true requires every selected row to satisfy the rule. The first matching branch wins. Decisions are logged.

A promote node takes the control and selected arms into a fresh confirmatory experiment. A hold stops for a person to decide a trade-off. A node that queues itself is bounded by max_runs; multiple looks affect its intervals.

EXAMPLES

The bundled T0-demo screens simulated candidates and follows its declared branches. T1-log-archives checks faster compression without giving up too much ratio, promotes qualifying arms, and can hold on trade-offs.

xlab tree draft "QUESTION" --adapter compression uses the configured model to write validated draft files. It never queues its own draft. Review the specs, plan, and spend before starting it. Agent pass-rate and cost-specific rules in AG-12 remain planned.
