NAME
xlab-development — current implementation, sources, and planned work.
SYNOPSIS
python3 -m unittest discover -s tests
xlab selftest
cd sites/xlab
npm ci
npm run build
npm run check
npm run previewDESCRIPTION
Keep the lab core dependency-free. An adapter contains measurement-specific behavior; the planner, record, and statistics stay generic. Changes to statistics must pass the synthetic selftest. Nothing a model writes becomes a measurement.
The website uses pinned VitePress with a local search index, system fonts, vendored HoloCSS entrances, and the HoloGPU Flow State DOM-fluid background on the product page. A pause control, reduced-motion preference, and WebGPU fallback preserve the static page; the manual stays static. After dependency installation, builds make no network requests. The product page and manual are static files in a single dist/.
SOURCES
The root README explains the implementation. The backlog is the roadmap and includes a historical status snapshot; that snapshot predates several currently implemented modules. The generator checks CLI help against the executable and warns when reviewed source hashes change. See source fingerprints.
Agent suites, isolated workspaces, independent graders, pass-rate statistics, automatic token pricing, and provider calibration remain planned. The site calculator waits for the measured agent A/A table. Public dashboard hosting and documentation-site deployment are separate future steps.
EXAMPLES
Edit scripts/docs_content.py, then build. If CLI options changed, review the diff and run npm run docs:capture-help. After reviewing the manual against changed sources, run npm run docs:review. Neither operation is hidden inside the normal build. Regenerate demonstrations with npm run capture.
